Cupcake Trio Birthday Card with Ganzai Pearl Colors

I really like the Whimsy Stamp Cupcake Trio, it makes a great masculine card.  I recently purchased the Ganzai Pearl Watercolors and wanted to try them out on this card.  I really like the bright and pretty colors they give to a card.  The frosting was painted with Finetec M600 gold watercolors.

I stamped the image with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder.  The cupcakes were then colored with the blue, green, and yellow colors for the Gansai set.  After the image was dry it was die cut with a My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangle.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back.  To add visual interest another rectangle was cut from blue cardstock with a larger wonky rectangle and the focal image panel was adhered to the front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

The sentiment is from Penny Black Doodles Thin Die and was cut from Paper Accents Gold Metallic Cardstock and adhered to the card front with the same glue.

A side folding A2 cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock and the focal image was adhered to the front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and the card was done.

Happy Birthday To You Balloons Birthday

Avery Elle Balloons makes a great masculine birthday card.  It is simple to create and yet looks festive and fun.

I stamped the balloons on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with Gina K. Designs Inks Jelly Bean Green, Powder Blue, Sweet Corn Yellow and then die cut the images with the matching dies.  A rectangle of the same white cardstock was die cut using the My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangle die.  The balloons were placed on the rectangle to determine where to stamp the strings and then the balloons were adhered using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and 3M 1/2″ Foam Tape.

A top folding A2 cardbase was made from some matching blue cardstock I had in my stash and the focal image rectangle was adhered with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive and the card was done.  Simple and easy to create.
