Sending Hugs and Prayers

My baby sister has been in the hospital twice in the last month. They are not sure what is her problem, but she is contracting sepsis and they don’t know the cause. This time her blood pressure got to an extreme low of 56/30 before they started on medication to bring it up. She is doing better, but we are still waiting to see if they can determine the cause. We are definitely sending lots of prayers.

Garden Pick Sending Prayers

When I was at Hobby Lobby recently they had this pretty Crafters Companion Grand Swirls Die on 40% off and so I decided to get it. It makes a beautiful card. I had some light gray and white patterned paper that I used behind the swirls, used silver mirror and light gray cardstock for the sentiment, and then decided to add a pop of red with some flowers from Altenew’s Garden Pick 3D Dies. Love, Love, Love this card.

Opulent Swirl Thinking of You

I was purging some of my dies and came across this Crafter’s Companion Opulent Swirls that I decided to give away, but then I realized I had never used it and thought I should at least make one card with it before getting rid of it. I liked it so much that it’s still in my collection. I love the way it looks with a large die cut sentiment.

You Are Amazing Thank You

So a friend of mine brought my attention to this stamp and die from Crafter’s Companion. It has two edge dies to cut the border of the stamped image. I decided to add some gold foil striped paper to the bottom of the card and one die cut the one edge of the flowers. Love the way it turned out.

Butterfly Garden Remake

This is another of those cards that I just did not like the outcome, so I decided to see what I could do to spice it up. I ink blended the edges of the die and the center of the butterflies and added white pearls for the butterfly bodies. I scattered some additional white butterflies around the card. And the final touch was to add some white dash lines with a white gel pen. Finally was happy with the result.

Repurposed Chantilly Lace Gatefold Birthday Card

So the original card that I created with this die I hated. It sat in my Birthday Card box and I kept passing it up because I didn’t want to give it out to anyone. One day I decided to repurpose the card. I used some pretty patterned paper and distressed the chantilly lace die with some Distress Antique Linen. Finally liked the result.
