Night Out Eliza Birthday

Eliza is a beautiful young lady inside and out and her favorite color is yellow.  I printed the La-La Land Crafts Digital Stamp Night Out Molli on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock and die cut the image with the Silhouette Cameo using the PIXScan Mat.  The image was colored with Copic Markers (listed below).

I found some yellow polka dot paper in the Authentique Delightful 6 x 6 Paper Pack and die cut it using the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes Rectangle.  To draw attention to the focal image an oval of white cardstock was die cut using the My Favorite Things Stitched Oval STAX and then dry embossing with the Darice Flower Frenzy Folder.

The sentiment is the Papertrey Ink Wonderful Words Birthday die and was cut three times from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.  The thickness of the cardstock ensures you have good dimension with only three layers.  They were glued together using Elmer’s Craft Bond Spray Adhesive.

A top folding A2 cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock and then all the elements were placed on the front to determine where to stamp the secondary sentiment from Winnie & Walter Sentiment Birthday Stamp with Hero Hues India Ink Black.  The yellow rectangle was adhered to the card front using the Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  The oval was adhered using Tombo Mono Multi Glue, as well as the birthday die cut.  3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back of the focal image and then adhered to the middle of the oval and the card was done.

Becca Selfie Birthday

What young lady now days isn’t into using her cell phone.  I think the La-La Land Crafts digital image Selfie Molli is so in tune with all of us today.  It was printed on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with an HP Laser Printer, which ensures the ink won’t bleed when coloring with Copic Markers.  Once printed it was die cut using the Silhouette Cameo and the PIXScan Mat.

Copic Markers BG49, BG15, BG13, BG11; C1, C3; E33, E53, E50; E11, E00, E000, R20 were used to color the image, since Becca’s favorite color is teal/turquoise blue.  3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back.

To assemble the card I found some patterned paper from my stash that would match the color scheme and die cut it using the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes Rectangle.  I found a scraped of teal cardstock to mat the patterned paper and help it pop on the card front.  It was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock using the Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

The focal image was placed on the card front to determine where to stamp the sentiments, which is from Penny Black Sprinkles & Smiles.  To compliment the color scheme, Gina K. Designs Blue Lagoon Ink was used to stamp the sentiment.   To finish the card the focal image was placed in the center of the card front.

Bring on the Happy Ashley

Ashley is a lovely young lady with the lovely voice whose favorite colors are coral and turquoise.  I printed the digital image Ruffles Marci from La-La Land Crafts on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock using an HP Laser Printer.  It was then die cut using the Silhouette Cameo and the PIXScan Mat.

It was colored using Copic Markers E49, E29, E37, E35, E33; R21, R22, R20; C1, C3; BG15, BG13, BG11; E11, E00, E000, R20.

I found some cute patterned paper in my stash that complimented the color scheme and die cut it with Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes Rectangle and adhered it to the front of an A2 top folding cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with the Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

An oval was cut from a scrap of white cardstock using a My Favorite Things Pierced Oval Die.  For added interest and dimension it was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Polka Dot Embossing Folder and placed on the patterned paper to determine where to stamp the sentiment from Penny Black Sparkles and Shine with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder.

To assemble the card the oval was adhered to the card front with Tombo Mono Multi Glue.  3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back of the focal image, which was then adhered to the middle of the embossed oval and the card was done.

Sweet Bailey Birthday Wishes

Bailey is an amazing big sister and an example to all the girls in the young women organization.  Her favorite colors are blue and coral.  I printed the La-La Land Crafts Sweet Molli with a HP Laser Printer onto Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock.  It was then die cut using the Silhouette Cameo and the PIXScan Mat.  It was then colored with Copic Markers (colors listed below).

I found some coordinating patterned paper in the My Mind’s Eye Hello Gorgeous 6 x 6 Paper Pad and die cut it with the rectangle from Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes.  Whenever you are working with patterned paper it is good to give the focal image a neutral background, so an oval of white cardstock was cut with a My Favorite Things Pierced Oval and then dry embossed using the Darice Hearts Diagonal Embossing Folder.

A top folding A2 cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.  The patterned paper rectangle was adhered to the front with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  The focal image was adhered to the front by adding 3M ½” Foam Tape to the back.

A scrap of white cardstock was colored with the same coral Copic Markers used to color the skirt of the focal image and the Sizzix Celebrate Word Die “birthday.”  Two additional word die cuts were made from scrap white cardstock and all were adhered together with Elmer’s Craft Bond Spray Adhesive.  Before adhered to the card front it was placed below the focal image to determine where to stamp the secondary sentiment from Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold, & Party Stamp set, using Gina K. Designs Bubblegum Pink Ink.  The birthday die cut was adhered to the front of the card using Ranger Multi Medium Matte and the card was done.

Artist Emma Birthday

Emma is a sweetheart and a talented painter.  She taught a watercolor class to the girls in her age group.  When I saw the Artist Marci stamp from La-La Land Crafts I knew it would be perfect for her.

I printed the image on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock using a laser printer, which ensure that the image will not bleed when colored with Copic Markers.  I modified the stamp by drawing a flower in the middle of the art board with a Sakura Pigma Micron Pen.  Her favorite color is pink and so that is the color scheme used for coloring the image.

I decided use a My Favorite Things Pierced Rectangle Frame.  I thought it would be in keeping with how we frame our art pieces.  It was die cut from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.  To add dimension 3M ½” Foam Tape was cut in half and adhered to the back of the frame.  I found some pink patterned paper in the Doodlebug Sweet Things 6 x 6 Paper Pack and cut it just smaller than the frame and removing the backing from the foam tape it was adhered to the back of the frame.

The focal image was placed in the frame to determine where to stamp the sentiment, which is from Penny Black Sprinkles & Smiles.  It was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gina K. Designs Detail White Embossing Powder.

An A2 Top Folding Cardbase was made from Gina K. Desgins 120# White Cardstock and the frame was adhered to the front using Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back of the focal image and then adhered above the sentiment and the card was done.

Celebrate You Avalynn

Avalynn will join the young women organization in December and we are looking forward to her arriving.  Her favorite color is purple, with blue as a secondary color.  I recently purchased the digital stamp from La-La Land Crafts entitled Celebrate You Marci.  I printed it with a laser printer on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock and then die cut it with the Silhouette Cameo using the PIXScan mat.

It was colored with Copic Markers (E11, E00, E000, R20, R21, R22; E35, E53, E51; C1, C3; B91, B93; B34, B37; V09, V06, V04, V01).  I found some coordinating paper in the Doodlebug Polar Pas 6 x 6 Paper Pack.  I love this paper and think it really enhances the overall design.  I die cut a rectangle using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Stackable Rectangle and adhered it to the front of an A2 top folding cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

To give the focal image a neutral background a scrap of white cardstock was cut with Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle.  This die cuts a scalloped center from a stitched rectangle and I decided to use both for this card design.  I adhered the stitched outer rectangle with Kukuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  I then cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the scalloped rectangle from Darice Sticky Back Foam Sheet and adhered it to the center of outside rectangle with Tombo Mono Multi Glue.

The sentiment is from Art Impressions Chocolate Therapy and was stamped under the white rectangle with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gina K. Designs Detail White Embossing Powder.  The focal image was adhered to the scalloped rectangle using Tombo Mono Multi Glue and the card was done.

Happy Birthday Bayley

This is another digital image from La-La Land Crafts entitled Darling Marci.  This is also a sitting image and so I searched for a digital chair stamp and finally found one I liked from WinkWinkInk entitled Comfy Chair.

Both images were imported into my Silhouette Cameo Software and then print and cut on Gina K. Designs 80# White Cardstock with my laser printer.  (It is important to use a laser printer when you want to Copic color an image.  If it were printed with a LaserJet the image would smear when coloring.)

Copic Markers used are:   RV29, RV14, RV13 (Chair); RV13, RV11, RV10 (Dress); E49, E59, E35 (Hair); R20, R21 (Lips and Cheeks); E13, E21, E00 (Skin); C8, C6 (Polka Dots on Chair); C9, C8, C7 (Chair Feet); C5, C4, C3 (Ribbon, Ruffle, and Shoes).  I added polka dots to the chair for added interest.

The girl image was adhered to the chair using Ranger Multi Medium Matte glue and then 3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back.  They were then placed on a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock to determine where to stamp the sentiment from Hero Arts Yummy Treats, stamped with Hero Arts Soft Granite Ink.

The card front was run through the Big Shot with WeR Memory Keepers Dotted Embossing Folder to add interest and dimension to the front of the card.  The backing was removed from the foam tape and the focal image was adhered to the card front.  As a final detail a Sakura GellyRoll Metallic Silver pen was used to trace the sentiment and the card was done.

Make a Wish Kailyn

I recently purchased the digital image for La-La Land Crafts Garden Bench.  I have quite a few girl images that appear to be sitting and I thought this would be a good addition to my stamps.

The girl image is another digital stamp from La-La Land Crafts entitled Birthday Gift Molli.  I imported both Molli and the garden bench into my Silhouette Cameo Software and then performed a print and cut on Gina K. Designs 80# White Cardstock with my laser printer.  It is important to use a laser printer when you want to Copic color an image.  If it were printed with a LaserJet the image would smear when coloring.

Copic Markers used are:  E50, E53, E35 (Hair); E000, E01, E11 (Skin); R20, R21 (Cheeks and Lips); E49, E59, E57/YR24, YR23, YR21 (Bench); B39, B37, B34 (Pants and Ribbon); B37, B34, B95, B32 (Shirt and Present); E50, E51, E53, E55 (Shoes).

I found some blue patterned paper in the Doodlebug Designs Patriotic Picnic 6 x 6 Paper Pad and die cut it using Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes Rectangle. It was adhered to a side folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with a Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive Runner.

The Silhouette cut images were adhered together using Tombo Mono Multi Glue and then 3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back to add dimension.  They were placed on the card front to determine where to stamp the sentiment from Hero Arts Make a Wish Birthday, which was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gina K. Designs Detail White Embossing Powder.  The backing was removed from the foam tape and the focal image was adhered to the card front. As a finishing touch Neat and Tangled Peacock Feather and Doodlebug Designs Blue Jeans Sequins were scatter around the focal image, adhered with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

HAVE A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY

This cute image from La-La Land Crafts Sweetheart was stamped with VersaFine Black Ink on Canson XL 140# Watercolor Paper and embossed with Hero Arts Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder.  I’ve heard Jennifer McGuire talking about stamping images before hand and coloring them while on the go and decided to give it a try.  I took my Tombo Dual Brush Markers, along with a Sukura Watercolor Pen, with me while I waited to have my car services.  It was amazing how much I was able to get done.

The reciepient of this card had long blond hair and her favorite color is mint green, so the colors used were as follows: 245 Sap Green, 885 Warm Red, N567 Warm Grey 5, 025 Light Orange, 026 Golden Yellow, 020 Peach, 942 Tan.

Once I was home I die cut the image using second largest Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Stackable Rectangles and then added some Darice Sticky Back Foam to the back to add dimension.  A rectangle of mint green polka dot paper from My Mind’s Eye Happy Day 6×6 Paper Pad was die cut using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangled and adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with Elmer’s Dot Runner Adhesive.  The focal image panel was then adhered using Tombo Mono Multi Glue.

The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Party Mini Letter Seals and was stamped with VersaFine Black Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Ultra FiClne ear Embossing Powder.  Sizzix Stephanie Barnard Word Labels was used to die cut the sentiment.  The edges were ink blended using an ink dauber and Distress Pistascio ink.  3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back to add dimension and adhered to the bottom right of the focal image and the card was done.

Love You Molli Make a Wish Birthday Card

This card was made for Kara Lee whose favorite colors are Turquoise and Green.  This is a new image from La-La Land Crafts entitled Love You Mollie.  I love her beautiful, flowing hair and cute boots.

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink on Gina K. Designs 80# White Cardstock and then colored with Copic Markers (listed below).  Once the coloring was complete it was die cut using the largest Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles.  I searched my stash of cardstock and found a matching turquoise, which was cut 1/8″ larger than the focal image.
