I colored this image to be like a young woman at church by the name of Jenna. It was printed with a laser printer and then Copic Colored with her favorite colors. Once the coloring was complete it was cut using the Silhouette PIXScan Mat.
Since the image has her hand down I decided to pair it with a park bench I had in my drawer that I added shadows to with Copic Markers. However, I needed to leave enough room for the sentiment, so I cut the center of the park bench out and piece it together. The seam would be covered by the focal image.
Grass and sky were ink blended, using some Post-it Tape to section off each area while blending. The park bench was adhered using liquid glue and the focal image was adhered with foam tape.
It felt pretty plain and so I pulled out some blue and green sequins to add a little something to the cardfront.
