Spring Bouquet Happy Birthday

This is an image I found on Pinterest and colored with my Copic Markers makes a pretty card. Once the coloring was done I cut it out using the Silhouette PIXScan Mat and then popped it off the page using Darice Sticky Back Foam. I find it easy to trace around the image on the foam and then fussy cut it out. Takes a lot less effort and time that cutting small pieces of foam tape.

When coloring was complete the image was cut using the Silhouette Cameo with the PIXScan Mat.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back by tracing the image with pencil and fussy cutting with scissors.

To compliment the colors used in the focal image a rectangle of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow cardstock was cut to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and adhered to the front of an A2 side folding cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.  A rectangle of white cardstock was cut using a My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle and adhered to the patterned paper using Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

The focal image was place on the white rectangle to determine where to place the sentiment.  One of the “happy” words from Lawn Fawns Happy Happy Happy stamp and die from Paper Accents Gold Mirror Cardstock and adhered in the upper right of the rectangle.  The secondary sentiment was stamped with Distress Oxide Candied Apple Ink.  The focal image was then adhered to the rectangle with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Owl Celebrate Your Birthday

I found this cute owl image on Pinterest (post number is listed below).  It really made a cute birthday card.  I was pleased with the color combination I decided to use.  The the pretty plaid paper background really compliments the focal image.

I printed the image on some Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with a laser jet printer and colored it with Copic Markers E59, E57, E55; G99, G94, G24; G85, G82, G24, B21; V06, V04, V01; BG75, BG18, BG72; Y26, Y23, Y21; E41, E40, B000.  Once the coloring was complete it was die cut using the PIXScan Mat and the Silhouette Cameo.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was added by tracing the image and fussy cutting the foam.

To enhance the purple in the owl a Rectangle of purple plaid paper from the Lawn Fawn Rainbow Plaid Paper Pad was cut the largest My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back and it was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

The sentiment was stamped onto the plaid paper with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gina K. Designs Detail White Embossing Powder.

An oval was cut from Neena cardstock using a My Favorite Things Pierced Oval STAX.  It was dry embossed using one of the Lifestyle Crafts Chain folders.  It was adhered to the plaid rectangle with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  The focal image was adhered using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Fly High on Your Birthday

I really like this Hot Air Balloon from Birdcards.com.  It’s hard to find her images any more,  OI guess she got a lot of flack from people because she was giving away her designs without charging for them.  It’s too back that people can be like that, because it is discouraging when you are trying to do something nice.

Anyway, I printed this image on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar While Cardstock and die cut around it with my PIXScan and the Silhouette Cameo.  I found this great paper in the Momenta Cardstock Carton 12 x 12 Paper Pack that looked like watercolored sky.  I used a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die to cut a panel of the blue cardstock.  I die cut some stitched clouds from the Avery Elle Pierced Clouds Die and scattered them on the card front to determine where I wanted to place the sentiment.

I didn’t have a sentiment that would go along with the theme of the card and so I created my own using the Yellow Daisy Font for “Fly High” ad Bangle Thin Font for the secondary sentiment and ran it through my HP laser printer.  A top folding A2 cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock and the blue sky rectangle and sentiment was adhered to the front with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

The clouds were adhered directly to the blue sky paper with Ranger Multi Medium Matte and 3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back of the hot air balloon, which was then adhered to the card front and the card was done.

Three Scoops Birthday I and II

I made two cards from this Pinterest Digital Stamp from Bridscards.com.  It was printed with a Laser Printer, die cut with the Silhouette Cameo and the PIXScan Mat and colored with Copic Markers E59, E27, E57; RV11, RV02, RV10; G00, BG11, G000; R29, R27; E37, E33.

An A2 top folding cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.  A small rectangle of pink and silver foil cardstock from Momenta Cardstock Carton 12 x 12 Paper Pack was die cut using the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Stackable Rectangle.  Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is one of my grand-daughter’s favorites, so dots of chocolate chips were added to the mint ice cream.  I made an error coloring the image with Copic Markers: E59, E27, E57; RV11, RV02, RV10; G00, BG11, G000; R29, R27; E37, E33, so it was printed a second time and the ice cream was fussy cut from the cone and 3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back for dimension

The sentiment was stamped with Lawn Distress Oxide Ink to the bottom of the card front and then it was dry embossed using the Cuttlebug Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

A very simple card to make.
