Wonky Cake Make a Wish

I liked this cute wonky cake digital stamp from Pretty Cute Stamps.  I printed with my laser printer onto some Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock and colored it the complimentary colors of orange and blue.

Copic Markers used were: B25, B24, B23; YR09, YR07, YR04; Y19, Y17, Y15.  Once the coloring was complete it was cut using the the PIXScan Mat and the Silhouette Cameo.  It was placed on some Darice Sticky Back Foam and traced with a pencil and fussy cut with scissors.

A rectangle of Neena cardstock was cut with a My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX and matted with some royal blue cardstock from my stash.  The two were adhered together with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

The cake was placed on the white rectangle to determine where to stamp the sentiment from My Favorite Things Make a Wish with Gina K. Designs Blue Denim Ink.  The wonky cake was then adhered using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

A rectangle of orange and white chevron patterned paper from the Recollections Bright and Basic Paper Pad was cut to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and adhered to a top folding cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with the same dotliner adhesive.

As a final embellishment Doodlebug Designs Tangerine, Bumblebee, and Blue Jeans Sequins were scatter around the cake, along with Pretty Pink Posh Tangerine Sequins using Ranger Collage Medium.

It’s Your Birthday – Treat Yourself

One of the things I really like about digital stamps is that you can make them any size you want.  For this card I use the Pretty Cute Stamps Hey Cupcake and made it large enough to be the focus of the card.

I printed it on some Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo with registration marks.  This allows you to send it back through the software after coloring to cut around the image.

I colored the image with Copic Markers: YR24, RY23, YR21; E59, E57, E55; YG17, YG03, YG01; R24, YR23, Y02.  For the card front I die cut a rectangle using a My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle and matted it with a piece of lime green cardstock I had in my scraps.  I placed the cupcake on the rectangle to determine where to stamp the sentiment from Hero Arts Birthday Messages with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron Ink.  3M 1/2″

Foam Tape was added to the back of the cupcake for added dimension.  I went through my paper pads and found this plaid patterned in the Lawn Fawn 6 x 6 Rainbow Paper Pack and cut it using a larger MFT rectangle die.  A top folding A2 cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock and the plaid patterned paper was adhered using Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  The focal image rectangle was adhered to the cardbase using the same adhesive.  The backing was removed from the foam tape and the cupcake was applied and the card was done.
