I’ve had the Stampin’ Up Come to Bethlehem stamp set for several years. I had to find it on Ebay since it was discontinued, but it made a beautiful card with Navy ink several years ago. This time I decided to see what it would like with gold embossing powder and really like the way it turned out.
This is the third Christmas card I created for my husband’s review. Creating the card with the MISTI was so much easier than when I made the card before since it needs to be stamped a couple of times for a crisp image. I cut a rectangle from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles. The image was covered with Ranger Gold Embossing Powder and heat set with the Marvy Embossing Heat Tool. The sentiment was stamped and embossed with Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Holiday Greetings stamp set.
Next a rectangle from Paper Accents Mirror Gold Cardstock was cut 1/8″ larger than the die cut rectangle and both were adhered with the Tombo Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive. A rectangle of Darice White Adhesive Fun Foam was cut with the SSS Stitched Rectangle die and adhered to the back of the focal image, then it was adhered to a top folding A2 card from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with Tombo Mono Multi Glue.
The white and gold are beautiful.
