Flower Bomb Birthday Bouquet

Pinks and purples, with a touch of yellow, make a pretty flower arrangement.  For this card I used the Power Poppy Flower Bomb Digital Stamp, printing it on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock and then cutting it out using the PIXScan Mat and the Silhouette Cameo.  The thing I really like about digital stamps is you can make them any size you want.

I took some pink cardstock from the Recollections Essential Paper Pack and die cut it with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle.  I then used the positive oval shape left over from a previous card I made using the My Favorite Things Oval Frames.  The oval was adhered directly to the pink cardstock and Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back of the rectangle and adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted’s Fancy Sayings and was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gina K. Designs Detail White Embossing Powder.

The focal image was colored with Copic Markers: V17, V25, V22; YG67, YG23, YG01; YG17, YG23, YG03; Y08; R85, R83, R81; BG000, and then placed on a rectangle of Darice Sticky Back Foam, traced, and fussy cut and adhered to the back of the image.  I think this is becoming my favorite way of adding dimension to an image.  It doesn’t really take any longer than cutting strips of 3M ½” Foam Tape, but it gives a solid dimension behind an image and goes through the mail excellently.  It was then adhered to the middle of the oval with Tombo Mono Multi Glue and the card was done.
