Framescape Winter Trees Birthday

I bought the Gina K. Designs Framescape Winter Trees specifically for my daughter-in-law Cassie.  She loves to ride horses in the mountains near her home in Ellensburg, Washington.  I created two separate cards with this stamp set and then had her husband and children vote which one they thought she would enjoy best.  This was the winner because it looks like the Teanaway Mountains where she frequently rides.

I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black inks.  I then filled in and enhanced the images Copic Markers.

I die cut the image with a Simon Says Stamp Rectangle, but felt that it needed something to draw the eye into the scene, so I used Copic Marker C9 to color the edge of the rectangle from the stitched line to the edge.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts Yummy Treats and was stamped in the meadow with Hero Hues India Ink Black.

A side folding A2 Cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was cut 1/8” smaller than the focal image and then it was adhered to the front of the card using Tombo Mono Multi Glue and the card was done.

I am a very blessed wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I firmly believe in the quote by Dieter F. Uchtdorf which states "The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human heart." Every day I try to create something that lifts the heart for myself and others.
