Frilly Frame Hello

This is an very quick and easy card made from some pretty cardstock, a frame die, and a die cut sentiment.

I had this Echo Park Just Married Cardstock on hand for quite sometime and decided to use it for this card. I really like it because it is two-sided and you can really add some great visual interest by using both sides of the cardstock.

I recently purchase Altenew’s Frilly Frame and decided to use it on this card. It was die cut from gold mirror cardstock. I had to use a metal shim for it to cut through enough to remove all the details of the die. Next I used the same die and cut it from the flower side of the patterned paper, this became the center of the frame. Both were adhered together with a thin line of liquid glue on the edge of the frame and then adhered to the circle flower cutout.

A rectangle was cut 1/8″ smaller than a regular cardbase and adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.

Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back of the focal image which was adhered to the cardbase with liquid glue.

The “hi” was cut from the same gold mirror cardstock and some yellow sticky back foam, adhered together with liquid glue, and then adhered to the bottom of the card front with the same glue. The final embellishment was to add Nuvo Gloss White Crystal Drops to the center of the flowers and the card was done.
