Full of Glee Hello

I think Penny Black has some of the prettiest flower image stamps for cardmaking.  For this hello card I decided to color it with red and purple Copic Markers and love the combination.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink using the MISTI.  This allowed me to stamp several time for a dark, crisp image.  The Copic Markers used to color the image are listed below.  Once the coloring was complete the image was die cut with a My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle STAX die.  To add visual interest to the card a rectangle of Gina K. Designs 120# Black cardstock was cut 1/8″ larger and adhered to the back with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

The sentiment is the Mama Elephant Hello Script Die and was cut from Paper Accents Gold Mirror Cardstock and again from the black cardstock.  The layers were adhered together with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and then adhered to the card front.

An A2 top folding cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120#White Cardstock.  To add visual interest the front of the base was run through the Big Shot with the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder.  The focal image rectangle was then adhered to the front with the same adhesive.  Wink of Stella was added to the flowers and the card was done.
