Get Well Soon Sketched Flowers

I had a friend who was recently diagnosed with a rare blood disease, the same that my father had. I wanted to send her a get well card of encouragement. I pulled out Simon Says Stamp’s Sketched Flower and stamped it with VersaMark Ink, heat embossed it with gold embossing powder, and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I fussy cut around one edge of the image, added to stick back foam to the back and placed it on a turquoise cardbase.

I am a very blessed wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I firmly believe in the quote by Dieter F. Uchtdorf which states "The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human heart." Every day I try to create something that lifts the heart for myself and others.
