Happy Birthday Bouquet for Julia

I really enjoy creating birthday cards for the young women in my church.  I like looking through my stamps and finding an image that looks a little like the recipient and color it with their hair color and favorite color for the clothes.  This card is for Julia, who is turning seventeen.  Her favorite color is olive green.

This is a digital stamp.  I printed it using the Silhouette Cameo software with registration marks so that I could cut around the image when I was done coloring.  I used Copic Markers to color this lovely young lady.  Colors are listed below.

Once the coloring was complete I cut out the image and then traced around it onto the paper side of some Darice Sticky Back Foam and fussy cut around it keeping inside of the lines and then added to the back of the focal image.

I went through my scraps of paper to find something I could use for a background for Julia and ran across this green grid patterned paper.  I die cut it using a Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Rectangle.  Since I had used a golden yellow as the accents for the image I adhered the scalloped rectangle to a larger My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle using Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  The rectangles where adhered to an A2 top folding cardbase made from dark green cardstock I had in my stash.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts Yummy Treats and was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder.  The focal image was then adhered using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and the card was done.
