Power Poppy Leaping Trout Birthday Card

I recently purchased the Power Poppy Leaping Trout Digital Stamp.  I thought it would make great cards for the sports enthusiasts in my life.  I really like the way it turned out.

I printed the image with my HP laser printer on Gina K. Designs 80# White Cardstock.  If I had printed it with an ink jet printer the lines would bleed when colored with Copic Markers.  I Googled images for Rainbow Trout and colored the fish and water with the following colors:  C2, C3, C4; V2, BG01, B32, YG03; B91, B95.  The image was outlined with B0000, B000.

The focal image panel was then die cut using the largest Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Stackable Rectangles.  Another rectangle was cut 1/8” larger from Gina K. Designs 120# Black Cardstock and the two were adhered together using Tombo Mono Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Stylish Sentiments: Birthday and was stamped using Hero Hues India Ink Black.

Darice Adhesive Fun Foam was added to the back of the focal image to add dimension.  An A2 top folding cardbase was made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.  The front of the cardbase was run through the Big Shot with the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder for added dimension to the card front and then the focal image panel was adhered to the card front with Tombo Mono Multi Glue.
