Red Peony Wishes Birthday

I really like the peony bouquet from Gina K. Designs Peony Wishes.  It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then die cut using the PIXScan and the Silhouette Cameo.  It is the perfect size for a My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangle base.  Both were stamped and cut from Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock.  A rectangle 1/8” larger than the wonky rectangle was cut with a guillotine paper cutter and adhered to the back with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.

My favorite color is red and so I used different hues to color the flower images.  Copic Markers used were: R08, R05, R22; R29, R27, R24; R22, R21, R20; YG97, YG93, YG91; B000.

3M ½” Foam Tape was added to the back of the flowers and then they were adhered to the front of the wonky rectangle.  The focal image panel was placed on the front of a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock to determine where to stamp the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages with Hero Hues India Ink Black.  Once the sentiment was stamped the focal image was adhered to the front of the cardbase with Tombo Mono Multi Glue and the card was done.

My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangles

Author: Karen

I am a very blessed wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I firmly believe in the quote by Dieter F. Uchtdorf which states "The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human heart." Every day I try to create something that lifts the heart for myself and others.
