Sunset on the Lake – Enjoy Your Day

This is the second card I made using Penny Black’s On the Lake. This time I wanted the scene to be a sunset. I stamped the image with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder. I added a circle of full adhesive post-it for the moon and I used different shade of yellow for most of the sky, preserving only a little bit of blue at the top. The lake was ink blended with different shades of blue Distress Oxide Inks. I decided to have a red moon and used the negative circle die cut post-it to color it with different red oxide inks.

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added several layers of white and black mats behind the image and adhered them all to a white cardstock base.
