The Happiest of Birthdays Aubrey

This card was made for Aubrey who is a talented dancer, so when I say this cute Connie Font image call Abbie with Cake in her little tutu I thought it would be perfect.

I printed it on Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with a laser printer and colored it with Copic Markers: RV21, RV20; RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10; V17, V15, V12; E55, E53, E51, E50; E11, E01, E00; B0000.  Once the coloring was complete it was die cut using the PIXScan Mat and the Silhouette Cameo.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back by tracing the image on the paper of the foam sheet and fussy cutting with scissors.

To provide focal interest behind the image a rectangle of the Neena cardstock was cut with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles.  It was then run through the Big Shot with the Darice Hearts Diagonal Embossing Folder.  Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back for dimension.  The focal image was adhered with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

The sentiment is from the Winnie & Walter Sentimental Birthday stamped onto vellum with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder.  It was cut into a thin strip and wrapped around the rectangle and adhered at the back with Scotch Tape.

Since Aubrey’s favorite color is pink, a rectangle of pink cardstock from my stash was cut with a My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle and adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock with Kokuyo Dotliner Adhesive.  The focal image was then adhered to the front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and the card was done.
