I recently purchase Altenew’s Molded Lines Stencil. I really like out the lines are on a curve. It reminded me of the trails of light to a shooting star and so I decided to create a birthday using a heart star die cut.
I ink blended the stencil onto Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with yellow Distress Oxide Inks. When the ink was dry I die cut the panel using a My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle and added Darice Sticky Back Foam to the back for dimension. It was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase made from Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock.
In my stash of papers I had some gold glitter foam and decided to use it to die cut my star using the largest Spellbinders Stars Five Die. Since it already had dimension I was adhered directly to the card front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
I didn’t have a sentiment that went with the star theme and so I created one using Microsoft Word. Cut it into a thin strip and adhered it to the card front with liquid adhesive and the card was done.
Very quick and easy card.
